Despite being a “newbie” to the game, BMM has
gone on to post reasonable success for a “constructor”
which is entering its 3rd year of competition. The
year 2001, was the team’s crowning glory when it won its class
at the event in its 1st year of competition. Despite
a dip in performance the following year, this year’s Team
BMM-03, with its vigour and enthusiasm is ready to emulate its
predecessors and achieve success at the event.

Boasting a rigid chassis that weighed
in at 32 kgs and built with the help of the experts
at West Surrey Racing, this car went on to win its
class at the 2001 edition of Formula Student.
This car aimed to achieve similar
success as its illustrious predecessor with special
focus on lowering
unsprung
weight and refining the overall design. Entered as a
Class II contestant, it did reasonably well for the
efforts taken during a turbulent development
process.
